Bruce MacKinnon, Halifax Chronicle Herald

Bruce MacKinnon was the winner, for the fifth time, of the National Newspaper Award in the editorial cartooning category at a ceremony in Edmonton yesterday.
He will receive a cheque for $1,000 and a certificate of award.
The other finalists, Michael de Adder of The Chronicle Herald and André-Philippe Côté of Le Soleil, will receive citations of merit.
